The Settings Directory
From IRIDAS Online Documentation
Overview
All IRIDAS applications store their settings in a folder called settings. It includes preset files such as Crop.fcps, AspectRatio.fcps as well as backup files for last session and the UserSettings.xml which includes all settings available in the visual settings dialog in the application itself.
Locating the Settings Directory
- Windows
Open an Explorer window, then navigate to your Program Files folder and find your IRIDAS application and open the Settings directory.
On a standard installation of Windows XP this typically would be
C:\Program Files\IRIDAS FrameCycler DDS\settings
For an installation of FrameCycler DDS
- OS X
First navigate to your Applications folder and find the IRIDAS application you'd like to check (in this example it's SpeedGrade OnSet). Control click (or right-click) on the .app icon.
Select “Show package contents” from popup menu and new finder window will open.
Double click on the Contents folder to open it.
Then open the MacOS folder, then open the settings folder.
- Linux
Find the IRIDAS application in the location where you store your applications, then open the Settings directory.
