SpeedGrade OnSet: Default .Look
From IRIDAS Online Documentation
Overview
When you create a new .Look file in SpeedGrade OnSet, by default a neutral .Look file is created.
Sometimes, for example when creating .Look files for a specific camera with special requirements for LUTs, Matrix settings etc, it would be desirable if the New button used a default .Look file as template.
If you place a file named Default.look in the Settings directory of your SpeedGrade OnSet installation, it is used as template whenever you press New.
Create a Default.look
To create a new default .Look file that is used as a template whenever you create a new .Look, please follow the following Steps:
- In the Look browser navigate to the Settings directory of your SpeedGrade OnSet installation
- Press the New button to create a new .Look file in this directory
- Enter Default as name for the .Look file
- Make the modifications to the .Look file, all changes you make will be used as a template whenever you create a new .Look from now on.

To re-use an existing .Look file as default, simply place the file into the Settings directory and rename it to Default.look
