Contents |
Overview
FrameCycler and SpeedGrade use the standard Core Command Line that is common to most IRIDAS products. To use any of the options specific to FrameCycler and SpeedGrade, simply append the options below after the Core Command Line.
There are a number of additional options that influence the behavior of FrameCycler and SpeedGrade after you have opened a sequence from the command line. The default behavior for these options can be changed in the Command Line tab in the settings dialog.
Commands
Automatically Play/Don't Play the Specified Sequence (-play/-autoplay or -dontplay)
By default, playback is paused after the sequence is loaded. However, you can start playback immediately after the application has launched by specifying:
-play or –autoplay
This default behavior can be changed by checking the Automatically Play check box in the Command Line tab of the User Settings dialog window. If the application is set to automatically play, you can specify
-dontplay
to pause the sequence when launching from the command line.
Hide GUI on Startup (-hidegui/-nogui or -showgui/-donthidegui)
By default, the user interface (GUI) is displayed after you have launched the application from the command line. To hide the interface, specify
-hidegui or –nogui
This default behavior can be changed by checking the Start with GUI hidden check box in the Command Line tab of the User Settings dialog window. If the application is set to hide the GUI, you can specify
-showgui or -donthidegui
to display the user interface when launching from the command line.
Collapse Tracks (-collapsetracks or -dontcollapsetracks)
By default, tracks in the timeline are shown in expanded mode. To launch FrameCycler or SpeedGrade timeline tracks in (space-saving) collapsed mode, specify
-collapsetracks
This default behavior can be changed by checking the Start with tracks collapsed check box in the Command Line tab of the User Settings dialog window. If this setting is selected, you can specify
-dontcollapsetracks
to launch FrameCycler or SpeedGrade with tracks expanded.
