Folder Structure
From IRIDAS Online Documentation

Overview
All IRIDAS applications share the same folder structure. These installation folders contain your application's settings, log files, the program executables, and presets. Some of these files can be user-edited to accommodate your workflow.
The folder structure inside the application folder is the same for all IRIDAS products on all operation systems (see Common Folder Structure below).
Windows XP
By default, all IRIDAS applications are installed in C:\Program Files (or the equivalent in your language) with the full product name, for example "IRIDAS SpeedGrade DI."
Mac OS X
By default, the product is installed inside your Applications folder (or the equivalent in your language). After the installation, you will see a product icon such as SpeedGradeDI in this folder.
To access the internal folder structure, you have to right click (or CTRL click) on the icon and choose Show Package Contents.
LINUX
All IRIDAS products are delivered as zipped tarballs on LINUX. After installation, the common folder structure can be accessed like any other directory.
Common Folder Structure
The folder structure for all IRIDAS application is the same. The contents of each subfolder is explained below.
Bin
The Bin folder contains the product binaries. To launch an IRIDAS product via the command line, specify the executable in the Bin subdirectory in the command line.
Log
The log folder contains log files that are generated when you run the application. If you ever experience an issue with your application, IRIDAS support will ask you to send the the contents of this folder.
NOTE: If the product installation folder is not writable, no log files will be generated. You can redirect the log files to a different, writable location by modifying Global_Settings.xml.
License
This folder contains your product license. To run your product, make sure the license file ("License.irlc") is current and valid for your product. If you want to use a central license location for multiple installations, you can redirect the directory where your product searches for a license by modifying Global_Settings.xml.
Resources
The Resources folder contains no user-modifyable data.
Shaders
The Shaders folder contains color correction algorithms. These should not be altered!
Settings
The Settings folder contains several files that store settings, timelines from your last sessions, and presets for the application.
If the Settings directory is not writable, any changes you make in the Settings window ( < S >) of your application will not be saved for future sessions. If this is the case, you can redirect the user settings to a writeable directory.
