Build 2008.3209.614
- Bugfix: MacOS X - Wrong SSE2 optimization caused problems in CPU rendering of 3D LUTs
- Change: Significant rendering speed enhancements
- Change: Latest generation assembler instructions are now disabled by default. Can be enabled in Settings->System Information
- Change: CPU implementation of calibration LUT rendering now uses the common LUT rendering functionality (performance improvement)
- New: Clip_0_to_1 LUT in LUTs dropdown. Clips the float range to 0 .. 1.0 - useful for intentional clipping effects
- Bugfix: Cosmetic - in some error windows and other HTML views, the ; after a special character like & was shown
- Bugfix: Crash in some undo situations
- New: Enhanced vectorscope control. Vectorscope is now HLS-based and updates in the same way the histogram does (real time/paused/idle).
- New: RGB waveform parade control.
- Bugfix: After exiting virtual trackball mode, the application sometimes behaved as if the right mouse button were continuously pressed
- Bugfix: Uncompressed AVI in the old AVI 1.0 format was not displayed correctly
- New: Timecode and additional meta data support for .ari (ARRI RAW)
- Bugfix: Thumbnails of movie file formats sometimes did not refresh until mouse was moved
- New: Timecode tracks in Quicktimes now support discontinuities (i.e. timecodes that are not sequential)
- New: SequencePublisher - support for routing source timecode (or other timecode from the metadata) to the destination timecode track instead of timeline timecode
- Change: Performance improvement in CPU textures, increases rendering speed, especially at smaller or odd resolutions
- Bugfix: SpeedGrade OnSet: Bug introduced in 2008.3175.856: image was sometimes flipped upside down, may have affected CPU rendering as well under some circumstances
- Change: Default extensions (.dpx etc.) when rendering are now all lowercase
