Avid DNxHD

Avid's DNxHD codec can be used for playback and rendering. In order to access the codec you'll need to meet the following requirements:

  • Windows Windows 7 or OS X
  • 32 bit installation of your IRIDAS application
  • Apple Quicktime (available from apple.com)
  • Avid DNxHD codec 1.9 (available from avid.com)

Please note that newer versions of DNxHD will work but are likely to behave different in gamma and chroma interpretation.
